Privacy Practices
This page describes how EduNexus approaches privacy today. It is a plain-language summary, not a legal agreement, and it will be replaced by a full privacy policy before general availability.
Schools own their data
Student information entered into EduNexus applications belongs to the school or organization that provided it. EduNexus processes that information to operate the service on the organization's behalf.
Data minimization
EduNexus is designed to avoid unnecessary duplication of sensitive student records across applications, and to share only the information an authorized user needs for a specific responsibility.
Access control
Access is governed by organization membership, role, and permission. Organizations control which users can reach which applications and which student information.
AI processing
AI features are used to assist with organizational, analytical, instructional, and documentation tasks. EduNexus does not use AI to independently make eligibility, placement, service, or other high-stakes educational decisions.
No certification claims
EduNexus does not claim third-party security or privacy certifications, or legal compliance determinations, that have not been independently verified and documented.
